Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Aks Laces & Patches mobile application ("the app"), operated by Aks Laces & Patches ("we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.

1. Your account

• You must give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share your sign-in.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
• We may suspend an account that is used fraudulently or abusively.

2. Products and prices

• Lace is described as accurately as we can, including material, colour and size. Photographs are representative; slight variation in shade is normal for textile products.
• Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are per metre unless stated otherwise.
• Prices and availability may change. The price shown when you place your order is the price that applies to it.
• If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer an alternative or cancel that item.

3. The fabric recommendation feature

• Only upload photographs you have the right to use.
• Upload fabric photographs only. Do not upload images of people, documents or anything unlawful. We may refuse to process an image.
• You keep ownership of your photographs. You give us permission to process them solely to provide the recommendation.
• The app allows three fabric uploads per account in any 24 hours. The counter starts with your first upload and resets 24 hours later. This keeps the cost of the analysis service sustainable.

4. Orders and payment

• An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it.
• Payment is arranged directly with the shop, as described in the app.
• Delivery times are estimates and depend on the courier.
• Risk passes to you on delivery.

5. Returns and refunds

If lace arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, contact us at contactakslaces@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the problem, and we will repair, replace or refund it.

Cut-to-length lace that matches your order cannot normally be returned, because it cannot be resold. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
• attempt to break into, overload or disrupt the app or our servers;
• copy, scrape or resell our catalogue or images without permission;
• upload malicious files or attempt to extract data belonging to others.

7. Our content

The app, its design, text, photographs and catalogue belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written permission.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the app available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may suspend it for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control such as network failures.

9. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses such as lost profit, or for events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Profile → My Account → Delete Account. We may end our agreement with you if you materially breach these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Attock.
